Organizational Development Specialist
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This Organizational Development Specialist will be responsible for supporting performance management, high-potential development programming, and other learning and development projects to support organizational needs.
JOB DUTIES
Supporting the creation of individual development plans Collaborating with managers to ensure effective performance management conversations
Implementing leadership development programs for high potential employees and tracking progress
Managing technology platforms related to organizational development initiatives
Evaluating program effectiveness and continuously improving our solutions
Performing 360 assessments and conducting related debriefing sessions
Balancing strong attention to detail and speed to produce high-quality work
JOB REQUIREMENT
Education/Training
Bachelor’s degree in Human resources, Psychology, and Organizational development is required
Related Experience
2-3 years of experience in organizational development, Talent Management is Preferred.

Human Resources Manager
The ideal candidate for human resources manager will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Responsibilities
-
Partners with the management team to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.

Familiar with payroll system

Responsible for on/off boarding of employees

Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.

Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support ASG human resources compliance and strategy needs

Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management
-
Resolve employee relations issues and mediate
-
Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.

Support on the recruiting process: send out interview invite, arrange interview, interview screening
-
Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.

Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.

Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Perform benefits administration enrollment and termination, to include change reporting; approving monthly invoices for payment and communicating benefit information to employees; and managing open enrollment annually with all health plans

Experienced in ADP Payroll is preferred

Experience of working with immigration lawyer and sponsoring CPT/OPT, H1B and Green Card

Collaborate with departmental managers in full-cycle recruitment effort for all employees to understand skills and competencies required for openings, including updating job descriptions, posting positions internally and externally, conducting phone screenings and interviews as needed, and conducting reference checks

Broad knowledge of the laws, regulations, policies, procedures and practical application governing the functions of HR

Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

Detail-oriented, adaptable personality with ability to multi-task and prioritize in fast paced-environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, with strong emphasis in Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams

Coordinate and assist with organizational training needs by collecting incoming publications for training courses and investigating other training opportunities

Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
Education and Experience:

Bachelor / Master degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.

Experience with payroll processing and administration, including time and attendance

Experience working in the ADP system preferred

Member of SHRM Society of Human Resources preferred

PHRC certifications a plus

5-10 years of human resource related experience preferred.

LEGAL COUNSEL
Job description
· Give accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics (labor law, international ventures, franchise etc.)
· Collaborate with management to devise efficient defense strategies
· Specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance
· Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations
· Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues
· Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.)
· Draft and solidify agreements, contracts, and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights
· Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization
· Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation
· Lead legal and compliance matters of publicly-traded retail business, with 50+ stores and a growing franchise, wholesale, and ecommerce business
· Serve as a strategic thought partner in leadership team with CEO, Business Development, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Human Resources to achieve operational and financial goals
· Review/negotiate and creates standard form commercial contracts (e.g. commercial lease, merchandise procurement, construction, logistics, franchise)
· Manage legal disputes and implement internal procedures to prevent future claims
· Manage risks for commercial decisions regarding employment-related issues
· Handle all in-house corporate governance documentation and legal-related matters
Skills & Experience Required:
· Proven experience as a Legal Counsel in business environment
· Much experience in dealing with labor disputes
· Outstanding litigation and mediation skills
· Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
· Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures
· Full comprehension of the influences of the external environment of a corporation
· Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies
· High degree of professional ethics and integrity
· Sound judgment and ability to analyze situations and information
· New York Bar preferred

Senior UI/UX Designer
Responsibilities:
-
Experience participating in activities as such; competitive UX benchmarking, generative wireframing to determine context hierarchy based on user workflow, composing compelling visual storyboards, developing mid to high fidelity UX prototypes for both physical and/or digital assets, conducting user testing and partnering to generate product animations highly preferred

Experience in integrating software and hardware design to ensure a consistent holistic experience is preferred

Strong systems-thinking with the ability to organize complex data into useful and usable information

Proficiency with design and rapid-prototyping tools is required

Experience in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Suite, etc preferred

Experience collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers to translate user needs into physical and/or digital assets that are built upon best in class usably guidelines and brand considerations

Partnering with cross-functional colleagues to design and prepare user test studies to gather and refine design interactions

The ability to strategically manage numerous initiatives with various objectives while driving for usability or brand consistency is required

Qualification and Skills:

Bachelor or Master student (or graduate) in Human-Computer Interaction, UI/UX design, Motion design, or a related design/behavioral science discipline.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in UX/UI product development is required

Be able to accomplish work using Figma, Sketch, Invison, and Adobe Suite.

Self-motivated and able to prioritize and multi-task with constant moving parts.

Communicate effectively with the team and be able to collaborate with engineers and stakeholders.
